I have lived in Grays Harbor County all of my life. I graduated from Elma High School in 1980. In June of that year I went to work for Grays Harbor Grange Supply, now Montesano Farm and Home. This is the only place I have worked since graduating from high school.
I have a wonderful lady in my life and two step daughters that are grown. Together we farm about 80 acres raising our own feed, dairy and meat goats and Belgium Blue beef cattle. We also show our animals at local fairs and regional shows as far away as Iowa and California.
I also collect farm machinery and enjoy local history. I have been a volunteer fireman for 28 years and am currently a captain with Grays Harbor District 5. I enjoy living in this area and getting a chance to meet and help all the wonderful people I come into contact with in this wonderful life!
Hi everyone . . . . .
I’m Kristi. I have been employed with Montesano Farm and Home since July of 2005. I enjoy my job and love interacting with our customers.
I am a single mom of three young men who all graduated from high school in Elma. They are all doing well for themselves. I am so proud of my boys!
I grew up and attended school here in Montesano. I have lived in Grays Harbor most of my life. I now live in Aberdeen as a live-in caregiver for my parents.
MFH is still “the hot spot to pick up chicks.” For those of you who aren’t able to tell which are hens and which are roosters, I can assist you with that. So far I have been pretty right on!, --- just not with my own....-Oops.
As you may notice when you come into Montesano Farm and Home, we are like one big family here. We all enjoy working together! We have fun with our different jobs and I believe it shows in our customer service.
I look forward to talking with you during your next visit to our local, friendly farm store.
Hi, my name is Lori. I joined Monte Farm & Home in June 2014 as the new bookkeeper. I've lived in Grays Harbor most of my life. I am finding the staff and customers are wonderful to deal with on a daily basis. I am learning new things every day, Chicks-Bunnies-Ducks, how fun to work with. Looking forward to many more things to learn. I do love gardening (vegetables) so come in any time and discuss tips & tricks.
I have been a customer at MFH for years, and am enjoying working here. I have enjoyed years of experiences with my daughters and horses between 4-H, Wahset and clinics. I am blessed with family including our "animals" and this time of year, I am usually in my garden.
I have lived in Grays Harbor my entire life. I graduated high school and am now attending Grays Harbor College. I am getting my pre-rec's done to become a large animal veterinarian. I raise around 40 head of registered cattle along with my uncle. I also show them at the local fairs, as well as out of state. Working at Monte Farm & Home is an amazing job. I love the family aspect we have as employees, and that we all work together doing our different jobs.
